I got the BC road and recreation atlas today and I am very pleased. It lists every campground in the province as well as wildlife viewing areas and what to expect to see for different months of the year. Lots of bear and moose and if I get lucky I should see some good salmon jumping up a fall on the Nass River near the Stewart cut off.
More maps and books for the trip.

  1. For BC I'd suggest looking into multiple road maps from http://www.maps2anywhere.com/Maps/British_Columbia_road_map.htm

I just use these old fashioned fold up road maps and they have all the data you would probably need.
